The design of the Square rack developed very organically as a result of three decades of playing and coaching tennis. Outdoor tennis courts are often surrounded by wire fencing on which players hang their towels during matches, occasionally using them to wipe away sweat. This act of momentarily stopping and catching a breath is an important routine and calming moment for some players. The Square rack is an interpretation of this routine, as well as a tribute to the fine game.
